As outlined below, the material is more robust and durable, it is easier to clean, and it can be moved around safely and efficiently. Safe moving of a grill is vitality important for obvious reasons. I found the ignition system to be reliable was impressed with the excellent searing power when cooking. After multiple uses and being kept out in all weathers, my Char-Broil is yet to show any rust. This is a testament to its weatherproof design.
When testing the Weber grill, I found it delivers solid performance. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and sturdy – making it a great investment for bbq parties large and small. It comes in a variety of attractive colors including black, ivory, red, sapphire and mocha – a level of choice which I appreciated.
No matter what I was grilling, the 30000 BTU burners and battery powered ignition never let me down, but the lack of a side burner is certainly disappointing. However, the ease of cleaning is one of my favorite features. I like how it saves time since it just requires emptying of the aluminum trays, without any unpleasant scrubbing required.
Just like the Char-Broil, the wheels also make it easily transportable which I believe to be important for an appliance such as this.
Overall, the power and ease of use of the Weber make it my top pick. It simply has more user-friendly features compared to the Charbroil. This is all reflected in their differing price tags since Weber grills are a lot more expensive. But if you want the best of a good bunch, I would recommend the Weber 45010001 as the winner of this race.
